Biography: Connie Bart-Hamel has receiver national and international awards from Professional Photography and other associations. She continues to create new creative categories and her work can be found all over the globe. Thirty years of art addiction mixed with passion and dedication continues to feed her soul in her business Artography – the melding of photography and art. (Connie was the first to coin name and register in Canada). Her professional Accreditation in photography and in restoration have required skills in hand drawing, painting, airbrushing, and digital applications. Integrating art with conversation brings another layer of conscience and craft to restoration as well as the creation of something even more magnificent. She has applied these skills to wood, photography, watercolor, pyrography, and digital enhancement. Every day new materials on the market present endless possibilities for new creations.
Connie’s inspiration stems from her deep Catholic faith – Roman, Ukrainian, and Greek Orthodox. Raised in a farming community north of Brandon Manitoba, Connie finds nature with all the fear and glory in her blood to this day, beside the majesty of Spirit. Her adult years have been spent in cities instilling a dynamic tension to somehow balance both nature and urbanity respectfully.
